The objective of this project was to address gender inequality surrounding a Fortune 500 company in a way that was doing, not just telling. In response to this, I created the Single Not Helpless campaign to not only encourage women to shop at Home Depot, but also as a platform for women to learn household tasks that would often require hiring a handyman or calling a male family member. The campaign included Pinterest and Youtube pages that would have step by step instructions on easy household fixes. It would also provide women with a platform to share ideas for crafts or projects. The campaign also included social media sites and print advertisements for workshops held in store by women for women.
