THE QUEENS

The Queens is a series of the four queens in a deck of cards. Multiple elements in each piece are based on the symbol of their suite and what it represents. I pulled the inspiration from Art Nouveau, but wanted to stay away from the well known Mucha pieces. Instead, I focused on florals and patterns seen in work similar to William Morris. These were done as digital paintings in Adobe Photoshop.
